The Idaho Pun Slam is this Saturday in Boise
Updated: Jun 22, 2021
Our monthly event takes place this Saturday, June 19, at the Lounge at the End of the Universe. And we would LOVE to see you there. Doors open at 6 pm, puns start at 7 pm.

If you haven’t heard of it, the Idaho Pun Slam is a three-round competition between ten PUNtestants.
For the first two rounds, all ten people draw a random topic out of a hat and give us two minutes of their best puns. Five audience judges give them a score from 1-5.
By the third round, we will calculate the total scores from the first two rounds. The top two puntestants go head-to-head in a final pun-off on a shared topic.

Anyone can compete; first come, first served. Notepads and pens will be available to write your puns, and you may read your notes on stage. (Seriously, anyone can do this!)
The prize is a free drink, a puntastically awful gift, and a place in our winner’s tournament in December (TBD).
This event is age 18+, and alcohol will be available to attendees age 21+ with a valid ID.
Again, we want to have an engaged audience for our first indoor show since the Before Times. The energy is so much fun when the audience and performers play with each other.
AND we are recording the newest episode of the Idaho Pun Slam podcast! We already have one episode up on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. It’s hilarious.
Come have a laugh, a drink, and a celebratory night out to welcome back a beloved comedic institution.
See you soon!
