Tiffany Eller is an artist and event emcee. Although her background is not in comedy, she knows what it takes to keep the energy high and help everyone feel welcome, no matter the environment. She and Daniel Vogt brought the Idaho Pun Slam to life after attending three pun slams in Seattle before moving back home to Boise. Tiffany even WON a pun slam in her day!

OUR HISTORY

Tiffany Eller and Daniel Vogt started the Idaho Pun Slam in September 2019. They partnered with Jen Adams and the Lounge at the End of the Universe to bring a puntastic wordplay event to Boise they had participated in while living in Seattle.

Attendance for this monthly event more than doubled in six months... right before the pandemic hit and we had to temporarily shut down operations.

We picked back up in May 2021 at the Idaho Comedy Fest, featuring local and New York-based comedians. Local favorites, Eric Cole and Beth Norton, performed, as well as Freddy G (of TikTok fame), and Matthew Broussard (a big-time Comedy Central comedian).

We've had an Idaho Pun Slam almost every month since and hosted our inaugural PUNdemonium SLAMpionship in December 2021. In 2023, we took the Idaho Pun Slam to Mad Swede Brew Hall and Watson's Mystery Cafe for the first time.

While the 2023 season has been canceled to make room for other creative endeavors, the Idaho Pun Slam WILL return. Maybe even with a few new puns up its sleeve.
